Success has different definitions for different people. For some, it may mean becoming famous, achieving financial independence, accomplishing what you want, being recognized by all, etc. It could be a combination of all of these too. However, one should understand that the above are the results or byproducts of success. Today we will learn and focus on the path to achieve this “Success” that everyone dreams about.
The path to success must be understood as a beginning with a strong belief in
something, starting the journey, by learning, improvising, getting good, and
finally getting exceptional at it.
Like I said, earlier, it varies with different people; for example,
it could be success in career, music, reaching a specific position in
life, achieving something phenomenal, etc. Whatever the case is, it
should begin with a strong determination to start off with.
It is by no means easy, but it is not impossible. The most important
factor that contributes to facilitate the journey is your strong and
unwavering passion for the idea of it.
For a better understanding of this, I will share an example that everyone can
relate to. All of us are familiar with the YouTube channel and the
millions of you tubers posting videos in their own niche. The goal
is the same for everyone to get the maximum number of views, likes,
subscriptions, monetization and create a stable income generation
through it.
The people who achieve success at it will have a quite a story to
share about their journey, various milestones achieved along the way and
finally reaching the peak.
We all know that only a few succeed in the process. The reasons of not
achieving success could be different; Let us not get into the
technicalities of it. However, giving up on one’s passion should not be the
sole reason of it.
Success at something should be seen as a process rather than as an
event. Understanding that it does not happen overnight and will have
its own challenges is key. A few pointers to stay put on the path of success
are:
• Stronger the belief, stronger the motivation to carry on.
• Researching and identifying smart ways to accomplish tasks.
• Focusing on the process than on the goal itself; results will follow.
• Writing down the desired goal at work place will provide the necessary focus
and motivation.
Finally, discussing the idea and the process with friends, family and SMEs
(Subject-matter experts) will bring in innovative thinking in the process. It
can fetch smart ways of doing things that are better result oriented.
